Superoxide dismutase is an enzyme associated with copper, zinc
and manganese.
Chemicals this supplement contains: Enzyme that participates in
utilization of copper, zinc and manganese by body cells

  • Injectable forms may have anti-oxidant properties.

    Miscellaneous information:

  • Oral superoxide dismutase is destroyed in the intestines before being absorbed, so oral forms are worthless.
  • Available in injectable forms, but these should be used only under close medical supervision.

  • Available oral forms are worthless. Injectable forms may cause anaphylaxis.

    Storage:

  • Keep cool and dry, but don't freeze. Store safely away from children.

  • At present no "safe" dosage has been established.

    ADVERSE REACTIONS, SIDE EFFECTS OR OVERDOSE SYMPTOMS

    Signs and symptoms: What to do:
    Life-threatening anaphylaxis Yell for help. Don't leave
