Basic Information
Superoxide dismutase is an enzyme associated with copper, zinc
and manganese.
Chemicals this supplement contains: Enzyme that participates in
utilization of copper, zinc and manganese by body cells
KNOWN EFFECTS
Injectable forms may have anti-oxidant properties.
Miscellaneous information:
Oral superoxide dismutase is destroyed in the intestines
before being absorbed, so oral forms are worthless.
Available in injectable forms, but these should be used only
under close medical supervision.

Protects against free radicals. (See Glossary)
Treats arthritis.
Treats cancer.
Treats side effects of radiation.
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
Don't take if you:
Have any medical problems.
Consult your doctor if you:
Take any medicinal drugs or herbs including aspirin, laxatives,
cold and cough remedies, antacids, vitamins, minerals, amino
acids, supplements, other prescription or non-prescription
drugs.
Pregnancy:
Don't use without medical supervision.
Breast-feeding:
Don't use without medical supervision.
Infants and children:
Treating infants and children under 2 with any supplement is
hazardous.
Others:
Available oral forms are worthless. Injectable forms may cause
anaphylaxis.
Storage:
Keep cool and dry, but don't freeze. Store safely away from
children.
Safe dosage:
At present no "safe" dosage has been established.
