Heavy Squats hurts my back




Okay, I am a wuss sort-of-speak. When I squat over 350 lbs, the weight bearing down on my traps / shoulder is painful. It's not that cannot lift it, the pressure hurts and I am already using a pad on the metal bar. Is there anything that I can do to go beyond 350 lbs? Any tricks to not feel the load as much? I've squated 400 lbs but the load made it not fun or enjoybale at all. I've been doing leg press but have hit the 11 plates limit on each side and am tired of hogging all the 45 lbs plates. Plus, I want to workout leg press after squat now so I will be somewhat fatigue going into it.
